Jerusalem, 18 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure is currently launching a broad information Campaign to promote Competition in the LPG (domestic gas) market, as part of a plan to remove barriers and Increase Competition in the field. The goal of the campaign is to encourage the public to compare prices using a dedicated calculator on the ministry’s website, and to examine the possibility of saving hundreds of shekels per year. Tests conducted by the ministry indicate that there are gaps of hundreds and even thousands of shekels per year between the various gas suppliers.

The campaign will include radio spots, newspaper ads, social media and digital platforms, along with extensive influencer activity. All of these will call on the public to check their home gas bill, compare prices, and see if the same service can be obtained at a lower price.
