Jerusalem, 24 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Government Water and Sewerage Authority published for public consultation a comprehensive report, which deals with updating the economic regulation of water and sewage corporations in Israel. The report proposes a new regulatory model.
The report was written against the backdrop of the challenges facing the water and sewage sector in Israel, including the need for large-scale infrastructure investments, maintaining the continuity of water supply in routine and emergency situations, dealing with population growth, and more.
