Jerusalem, 21 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli company Verbit and US-based legal training platform AltaClaro have launched DepoSim, an AI system designed to simulate courtroom depositions for attorney training in the United States.
The platform uses multiple AI agents to act as witnesses, opposing counsel and court reporters, allowing lawyers to rehearse challenging scenarios and receive automated performance feedback after each session. Developers say the system enables repeated practice against different behavioral styles, including hostile or evasive witnesses, and mirrors real-world deposition dynamics. In pilot use at six US law firms, most participants reported it improved litigation training and said they would use it again.
