Jerusalem, 16 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The government of Israel approved the proposal for a National plan to accelerate Artificial Intelligence in the country and establish global leadership, strategic principles and directions for action, which was formulated under the leadership of the National Headquarters for Artificial Intelligence in the Prime Minister’s Office. The plan, said the Prime Minister’s Office, is intended to establish Israel’s position as one of the world’s leading countries in the field of artificial intelligence, strengthen the country’s technological independence and national resilience, accelerate economic growth and innovation, and integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into all areas of life and the economy.

1. Establishing sovereign infrastructures in the field of artificial intelligence
2. Establishing a national quantum computer
3. Promoting international alliances and partnerships
4. Human capital development and workforce training
5. National preparation for changes in the labor market
