The driver did not obey instructions, accelerated her vehicle, and began to flee the scene at high speed, endangering human lives. Joint forces of Central Border Police fighters and Central District police officers initiated a pursuit of the vehicle. Upon reaching a residential complex in the city of Lod, three suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot towards a hideout apartment. The forces conducted searches of the area and located 35 suspects in the apartment, residents of Judea and Samaria, staying in Israel illegally. The driver of the vehicle, a 42-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, was arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Lod station. In parallel, as part of an additional operation by Central Border Police fighters and Central District police officers conducted this morning, the forces arrested a suspicious minibus in which 12 residents of Judea and Samaria were found staying in the State of Israel illegally. The driver of the minibus, who allegedly transported the illegal residents, was arrested and transferred for further investigation.
